When his identity was revealed as a member of Swordforge Manor, Ling Han asked him to make him a sword, and he immediately agreed. The reason he agreed was because he had never forged a sword before. When Ling Han trusted him to make the best sword, he was very happy, and he promised to make the best sword for Ling Han. While on Earth's Core Island, he met Guo Xiuwen, Tong Yulong, and Ning Tai. After which he and his group were escorted by Guo Xiuwen, Tong Yulong, and Ning Tai to a village on Earth's Core Island to stay. The next day, he was escorted by Guo Xiuwen to meet Pei Ji. When Ling Han came looking for her and told Yang Tiecheng and the others what happened, he was furious and willing to kill Pei Ji. When he and the others arrive at Pei Ji's workshop, he and the others immediately attack Pei Ji together. Although he and the others attacked Pei Ji together, Pei Ji was still able to escape. After Pei Ji's departure, he and Fu Tian took some resources from Earth's Core Island, and afterward he boarded a ship to leave Earth's Core Island to explore the Star Sea.
After returning from Star Sea, he immediately made the sword ordered by Ling Han. After the sword he made was finished, he visited Ling Han at Scarlet Heaven Academy to hand over the sword to Ling Han. However, when he arrived at Scarlet Heaven Academy, he was obstructed by disciples from the Eastern Institution which caused him to be injured. After Ling Han finished dealing with the disciples from the Eastern Institution, he immediately followed Ling Han to the Northern Institution. After he gave Ling Han the sword he ordered, he explained the materials and potential of the sword he had forged to Ling Han. After that he and Ling Han toured Point Star City, and after that he left Point Star City to return to Swordforge Manor.
